Poder in Action

Through a partnership with Poder in Action, we became the digital creative partner for one of Phoenix's most rooted grassroots organizations — building collective power with BIPOC and working-class communities fighting for systemic change.

Our work focused on identifying creative opportunities to advance community liberation, meeting people where they already are: online, in the community, and in the fight.

Together, we built a digital presence grounded in the lived experiences of those most impacted by state violence.

Community Defense

Information is protection. We created clear, accessible Know Your Rights content and community defense resources built for the person who needs them most. Every piece was designed to keep people safe and informed when navigating systems built to harm them.

Political Education

Most political content reinforces the systems it claims to explain. Ours doesn't. We created materials that challenge mainstream narratives around policing, punishment, and safety. Helping people understand the systems shaping their lives, see whose interests those systems serve, and recognize their own stake in collective liberation.

News Article Series

When Phoenix makes a decision that harms working-class communities, Poder shows up with context. We designed a carousel format that transforms news stories into community-centered analysis — breaking down what happened, who it affects, and what's at stake. Direct, accessible, and grounded in an abolitionist framework, not a mainstream media one.

Bilingual Content Creation

Organizing tools only work if everyone can use them. We produced all content in English and Spanish, with translations that are culturally grounded and honor how people actually communicate, organize, and build power in their own language.

From social campaigns to on-the-ground flyers, bilingual content closes the gap between people and the political education they need.

Poder in Action's work lives at the intersection of digital and on-the-ground organizing. Our creative support kept pace with both, turning every news cycle, policy decision, and community moment into an opportunity to educate, activate, and build collective power. The result: a digital presence as rooted and relentless as the organization itself.
