About Us

We’re a resourceful, creative team dedicated to the impact of art, strategy, and community in driving long-term social change.

Launched in 2018 by Ambar Januel Lopez, Neta Collab exists to ensure that our communities - immigrants, LGBTQ+ people, people of color, lower-income families, women, and other marginalized people - are central to the fight for social justice and equity.

Why we’re called Neta Collab:

In Mexican slang, "neta" roughly translates to "really?!," "legit," or the "truth."

Our founder Ambar chose this name to honor her Mexican heritage and remind us of our mission: to speak truth through our work and build authentic movements for social change.
