Culture builds movements.
Community-led marketing creates systemic change.
Our team of immigrants, LGBTQ+ individuals, women, and people of color combines cultural power with marketing expertise to advance social justice in local communities nationwide.
Neta is proud to be 100% Latina + LGBTQ owned.
Note From Ambar Januel López, Neta Founder & CEO
“My immigrant mother showed me the power of resilience and creativity, teaching me to see our culture as a driving force for change. Growing up between a small town in Vermont and México City, I witnessed how many systems are unjust and biased towards our communities - and how we could use our cultural power to challenge them.
After an untraditional upbringing, dropping out of art school, and working with various startups and creative companies, my passion for social change led me to nonprofits. There, I witnessed firsthand the gap between their marketing capacity and the impact they wanted to make in the world.
Organizations deserve an experienced partner who understands their values, mission, and the cultures and identities of the communities they serve.
That's why we launched Neta in 2018. As one of the few Latina and LGBTQ+-owned marketing firms in the country, we're not just talking about representation - we're actively reshaping who gets to tell our communities' stories.
When you partner with Neta, your mission becomes our mission. We combine cultural power with marketing expertise to build movements that drive systemic change.
What started as a team of two has grown to seventeen changemakers across the country, including my mother and sister who inspired this journey. Today, I am proud to lead this powerful team dedicated to advancing social justice through strategic marketing and creative power.”

Why we’re called Neta Collab:
In Mexican slang, "neta" roughly translates to "really?!," "legit," or the "truth."
Our founder Ambar chose this name to honor her Mexican heritage and remind us of our mission: to speak truth through our work and build authentic movements for social change.
